Meet Jaclyn Collentro:

Jaclyn is a coach, teacher and nurturer who's passionate about empowering women with knowledge about their bodies as they go through significant changes in their lives. She will support you to advocate for yourself, offer compassion and hold space for you.

My story:

I graduated with my Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2014. After treating many patients I knew there was more to wellness than movement and exercise. I decided to explore the role of nutrition for my own wellbeing and discovered such a positive change. One of the larger positive changes that I noticed was the change in my menstrual symptoms with nutrition and lifestyle adjustments.

This led me to dive deeper into nutrition and I became a Certified Functional Nutrition Coach in 2020 and started my wellness coaching business, Jaclyn Collentro Wellness. As I continued to learn about myself, my patients and my clients, I knew I resonated best with women. This led me to further my physical therapy knowledge and become certified to treat pelvic floor dysfunction in 2020.

While tuning into my menstrual cycle and educating myself about it, I felt called to dive deeper in understanding conception, as someday I wish to have children of my own. This brought me to really lean into pregnancy; the process that women go through, the changes in their bodies, the mental challenges of it all; and I soon realized that this is the population that I want to serve. These topics truly light me up.

I want women to feel empowered during these changes. I want to teach women about their bodies encompassing all that is wellness: movement, nutrition, lifestyle, mindset and beyond. Preconception, conception, birth and postpartum are life changing. We all need support during these times, probably more than ever. I am ready to support you.
